I Remember When

“I Remember When…” introduced primary school students to cut-out animation through a playful and structured approach. After exploring the basics of animated cinema, each child created an articulated paper character and contributed to a collective story starting from the prompt “I remember when…”.

The group built backgrounds, characters and props, animating them frame by frame and recording their own voice-over to enrich the final short film. The atmosphere was collaborative and imaginative, with students listening to one another and weaving fragments of memory into a shared narrative. Teachers noted how the workshop strengthened focus, cooperation and the joy of seeing ideas take shape on screen.
